about US
We connect and empower faith communities and individuals to work for the common good and a life of dignity for everyone. We advocate for change so that all individuals and families can thrive socially, prosper economically, and participate fully in civil society. We intentionally build bridges across faith communities and draw on the collective wisdom, courage, and strength of our various faith traditions.
WHO WE ARE
Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice is an interfaith education and advocacy organization dedicated to creating a more just and equitable society for all. We are social justice committees, organizations, non-believers, supporters, congregations, activists, and religious leaders from many faith traditions from all over the state of Wisconsin.
WHAT WE DO
We cross religious, cultural, and political boundaries to bring about awareness, educate, and advocate for systemic changes that address the root causes of poverty, racial inequities, and social injustice in our state.
WHEN WE BEGAN
We began as Concerned Religious Leaders of Wisconsin in 2011. We officially became Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice in 2012, and obtained 501c3 non-profit status in 2017.
WHY WE DO IT
We believe it is our duty to ensure the state upholds human dignity and meets the needs of ALL who live here.
HOW WE DO IT
We are a coalition that depends on moral, logistical, and financial support from the wider community. Your tax-deductible donation allows us to lift all voices and work for a more just and compassionate society through advocacy, education, and partnerships.
