about US
WHO WE ARE
Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice is an interfaith education and advocacy organization dedicated to creating a more just and equitable society for all. We are social justice committees, organizations, non-believers, supporters, congregations, and religious leaders from many faith traditions from all over the state of Wisconsin.
WHAT WE DO
We cross religious, cultural, and political boundaries to bring about awareness, educate, and advocate for systemic changes that address the root causes of poverty, racial inequities, and social injustice in our state.
WHEN WE BEGAN
We began as Concerned Religious Leaders of Wisconsin in 2011. We officially became Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice in 2012, and received our own 501c3 in 2017.
WHY WE DO IT
As progressive people of faith, we believe it is our duty to ensure the state upholds human dignity and meets the needs of ALL who live here.
HOW WE DO IT
We are a coalition that depends on moral, logistical, and financial support from the wider community. Your tax-deductible donation allows us to lift the voices of those who are underserved and marginalized through advocacy, education, and partnership.

BOARD MEMBERS 2022-2024
Yatsenko received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019, and is an assistant professor of accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is particularly excited about our work for immigrant rights and building bridges between faiths.
Yatsenko assumes the role left vacant by former Board member and treasurer Matthew Nicgorski who passed away on December 3, 2021. WE REMEMBER MATTHEW S. NICGORSKI
We were shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our Board member and treasurer, Matt Nicgorski, on December 3, 2021.
![]() Matt joined our board three years ago as our treasurer. Matt was a CPA and he wanted to learn more about non-profit accounting and was looking for an organization that lined up with his values. He threw himself into our work with energy and enthusiasm. He was unfailingly kind, patient, generous with his time and expertise. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We send our deepest sympathies to his family.
