Dane Sanctuary Coalition
Based on our shared faith commitments to social justice, we assist vulnerable immigrant and refugee communities. We do this, under the leadership of Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice and in collaboration with Voces de la Frontera and Centro Hispano, by providing and supporting physical sanctuary when needed. We also provide a conduit for information, education, and training on related social justice actions.
If you are not a member of the Dane Sanctuary Coalition but would like to receive news updates, action alerts, and event announcements related to immigration justice, email Rabbi Bonnie Margulis to be added to the email list for immigration justice

the death and life of aida hernandez
The Dane Sanctuary Coalition presents author Aaron Bobrow Strain, speaking about his book, The Death and Life of Aida Hernandez, detailing the story of undocumented immigrant Aida Hernandez, her struggles, trials and triumphs, as she battles our country's immigration policies and fights to stay in the country where she grew up and considered home. Through her story, we learn how our immigration system is designed to dehumanize and criminalize undocumented immigrants who are part of the fabric of our society.
